Why Am I Here?

In a recent prayer conversation with the Lord, I was reminded of Scriptures that have been hidden in my heart for some time, yes years.
Revelation 4:11 KJV
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.
Psalm 100 KJV
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless His name.
For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.
I have intentionally referenced these Scriptures from the King James Version of the Bible as this is how I learnt them.

I was talking to the Lord about my fellowship with Him. My purpose and how I was living in fulfillment of His purpose for my life. Simply put, these Scriptures have been hidden in my heart for years because they spoke to me about why I was created. And giving God pleasure in songs of thanksgiving and praise was part of this life of pleasing God.
Singing was also a part of my childhood and teenage life as my mother would play the piano and Daddy, and us sisters would gather round and sing as mom played and sang. Being a part of the church choir was another avenue of song. I was also in my elementary school choir and later in high school was a part of the eisteddfod competition in choir and solo. (This is just a little extra history of singing in my life).
“I am here to please God.”
But for me pleasing God was more than singing. I am here to please God. I live to please God. I want to live “for His pleasure”. I had become challenged about living purposefully and pleasing God. I cannot please God out of myself or my flesh. I am totally dependent on Him living through me. I am a channel through which God by His Holy Spirit flows. His moving through me that His Kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is my purpose and that pleases Him! And where is “here”? On earth.
Our purpose is not the activities that we do or the jobs that we work at or the doings of life. We were created to live this life to please God. So, what is this life, this eternal life?
John 17:3 NKJV
And this is eternal life,
that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
So, this means I must stop to listen and see so that I can step out and be His channel that others might see a God who is pleased by His handiwork in me. This is the purpose of the life which I live. This is why I am here.
Why are you here?
