The most wonderful person ever was once asked this question, “What is Truth?” But the account of this question says that when he had said this, he went out again… My question is, did the enquirer ever hear the answer?
Do you ever hear something, and it leads to a question, but you just move on ignoring your question? Could you have just thought “that’s not important”? Did you judge your question as a stupid one? If so, did you not ask the question because you did not want to embarrass yourself? When you ask a question and receive the answer you have just made a growth journey because you learned something, and this leads to change. Well, if you have a question, then the question needs an answer. Do you have the answer? Now, how does the answer affect you?
Let’s go back to the beginning then. What is Truth? Have you ever asked this question? The answer to this question is a person, Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus said of Himself when talking to His disciples, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

“Truth is eternal. Truth is trustworthy. Knowing the Truth will set you free."
We are all eternal because that is how we were created. But our eternal destiny is based on what we do with Truth. Truth will change us, but that is our choice. Let our thoughts be truth filled. Let our words be truthful. Let our lives be trustworthy and of integrity.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end”.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NIV)
Truth is eternal. Truth is trustworthy. Knowing the Truth will set you free. Whatever is not the truth is a lie and false and deceptive. Therefore, anyone who has not been responsible to choose Truth is living a life of lies and deception.
I asked many questions at the beginning of this blog. The main question is, “What is truth?” In John 18:38 (NKJV), Pilate’s assessment of who Jesus is, is that “I find no fault in Him at all.” What would you say? That is true! So, what have you decided about Truth?
